Waybuloo is the newest TV show for pre-school children that has captured everyone’s imagination – and the new Waybuloo toys based on the four Waybuloo characters are set to be extremely popular.
Waybuloo is set in the enchanting land of Nara and features four computer-generated Waybuloo characters called Piplings, who aim to help young children learn about notions such as sharing and respecting others in a fun and inclusive manner.
The TV show has 4 central Waybuloo characters named De Li, Lau Lau, Nok Tok and Yojojo, each with their own distinctive look and personality. The Piplings have a cute and loveable appearance with lovely large faces with huge eyes and cute features.

De Li has a pink body and large blue eyes, with small, vaguely pointed ears on top of her head, not dissimilar to those of a kitten. De Li has a distinctive flower on top of her head. De Li is the Pipling who symbolises love; she is tender, loving and affectionate, whilst at the same time being somewhat shy. Even though she is the most timid of the Waybuloo characters, De Li also has a nurturing instinct, which exhibits itself in her a love of nature, gardening and gathering food for her friends.
Lau Lau has a lilac body with huge green eyes with long ears on top of her head that make her look somewhat rabbit-like. Lau Lau represents imagination and she is the most creative of the Piplings. Lau Lau loves to paint and make sculptures, with a particular interest in textures, shiny and glittery things. Lau Lau is the most spiritual of the Waybuloo characters, with a calm, perceptive personality; she is particularly good at Yogo!
Nok Tok has a blue body and big brown eyes with rounded ears on top of his head that make him look a bit like a loveable teddy bear. Nok Tok represents wisdom. He enjoys finding inventive solutions to a variety of problem. Nok Tok is considerate, practical and very strong-minded. Nok Tok enjoys a challenge and loves to repair and construct things in his workshop.
Yojojo has a yellow body and big blue eyes with rounded ears on the side of his head, making him look somewhat monkey-like. Yojojo, represents happiness. He is humorous, awkward and cheeky. Yojojo is the youngest of the Piplings often exhibiting toddler-like behaviour, learning from his mistakes and, just like a small child, is always falling over. Yojojo is very musical and enjoys playing his homemade Pipling pipes, banjojo and drums.
